| | "We were golfing in Terrace Bay on the weekend and while we were having breakfast at the B. and B. we talked with a couple who were heading back to Winnipeg. We were discussing places to dine in the area and the girl said she had had trout the evening before. I said trout were not my favourite but that pickerel were the best. She then proceeded to tell us about a place in Thessalon where she had a wonderful pickerel dinner earlier in the week. I said they must have stayed and ate at Carolyn Beach. They both looked at me as if I was psychic! It’s a small world but I proceeded to tell them that the food at your place is the best no matter what they would have ordered. They absolutely loved your place!
Hope all is well with the two of you. We spent two weeks in Puerto Vallarta in March and had a wonderful time. We’re off to Florida for two weeks in September and then-who knows where? Take care, Barb"
"Aurevoir! I took the post-card from the desk, so I can show all my acquaintances the wonderful spot where I spent a marvelous time. One thing not depicted on the card is the nature of the people who manage the Carolyn Beach. That is the most important aspect of a resort such as this one. I highly recommend Carolyn Beach as the #1 resort, which is located 83 KM east of Sault Ste. Marie. Have a wonderful summer!

"When I checked in, I was tired and grumpy. The people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. When I entered the room, it was very clean, comfortable looking and inviting, yet without being overly elaborate.
I have spend the past month traveling all over North America. I've stayed in MANY motels. I have left a few letters of complaint at some. It seems to me that we are quick to criticize and slow to praise - but you folks obviously care about your business and it shows! I look forward to a good day's drive home, well rested.
