We are located on the West end of Thessalon at 1 Lakeside Drive at the junction of Highway 17 & Highway 17B, approximately 85km (50 miles) east of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Our motel is open year-round. Located on the North Shore of Lake Huron, the resort takes in a breath-taking panoramic view of our own private bay and sandy beach. All 50 spacious rooms all overlook the bay.
Andrew & Susan Weigel, your hosts have been in the hospitality business for many years, Andrew as general manager of resorts, and Susan as Chef. They also owned an operated a well known dining room for 12 years in Huron County before arriving in Thessalon. Both Andrew and Susan have a formal education in hospitality management and culinary arts, and are always looking for ways to enhance your stay.
We are thankful to our clientele to allow us the resources for all the improvements we have made over the last three years of our ownership. In 2005 we will further improve our infrastructure by accessing municipal and sewer resources to service our valued guests even better. As always, it is a pleasure to serve you!
